Since the commencement of its commercial production in 1995, CCL has increased its plant capacity for Spray Dried Coffee from 3,600 Mts p.a.
to more than 10,000 Mts p.a with substantial investment in capital equipments. |

CCL has set up India's First Freeze Dried Instant Coffee manufacturing plant with an initial production capacity of 1,500 Mts p.a. which has
subsequently been enhanced to 4,000 Mts p.a. in 2007.

The factory has been a major source of employment in the area, employing more than 250 men and women on a permanent basis with an additional 250 casual employees from the local and surrounding villages.

STATE OF THE ART COFFEE TECHNOLOGY |

Swiss/Brazilian Technology has been adapted through M/s Brazilian Food
Projects (BFP), world renowned pioneers in turnkey Instant/Soluble
Coffee Projects. BFP has provided technical know-how to several coffee
companies across the globe. This Brazilian technology has been fully
adopted by CCL, thus enabling the production of soluble coffee, of
International quality, using low grade coffee beans.

designed and built this installation and has also been constantly
providing on-going technical input. |
